I love your site and the photos.... one thing about farm life never changes... wherever you have a farm water problems are sure to follow.
I remember when we had guests once and as they were about to leave, one of them made the wry comment, "It's the first time I've had a wash, a shave and cleaned my teeth in one mug of water."
That's farm life for you.

The electric pump on our house bore has let us down a couple of times lately, too - after running like clockwork for over 30 years! There's nothing worse than being without water.

Thanks Heather:) It might be cold but the sun was out and it was too nice a day to drive. I wish we could get 30 years out of our pumps - we can't go more than 30 days sometimes. Fingers crossed both our pumps now behave themselves:)
