Visual Inspiration for Down Outback Roads 12/03/2013 My next full length rural novel, working title Down Outback Roads, is finally in my publisher's safe hands. These photos are some of the ones I used for visual inspiration. Mural in a small country town. Bull bar. Local Cobb and Co. coach house. A sweet little goat called Fudge. Fridge magnet. tagPlaceholderTags: Write a comment Comments: 8 #1 Felicity Staveley (Friday, 30 May 2014) The mural looks like Eugowra to me. Hi Alissa I've just finished Beneath Outback Skies & absolutely loved it. I'm now on the lookout for Down Outback Roads. I grew up on a farm 17kms from Canowindra but now live in Sydney though mum & dad are still on the farm so my kids get to experience both lifestyles. I'm an avid reader of rural writers & loving the plethora of books that are out there. #2 Alissa (Monday, 02 June 2014 23:44) Hi Felicity, Yes, the mural is from Eugowra:) Am so thrilled you enjoyed BOS! DOR is out as an ebook now but will be in print next year. Canowindra is such a pretty area and keep meaning to get to the Hot Air Balloon festival. Maybe next year. Happy rural reading and thanks so much for leaving a comment. I love hearing from readers:) Alissa x #3 Arnette Theiss (Thursday, 02 February 2017 03:36) Howdy exceptional website! Does running a blog like this require a massive amount work? I have very little knowledge of coding however I was hoping to start my own blog soon. Anyway, should you have any recommendations or tips for new blog owners please share. I understand this is off topic nevertheless I simply had to ask. Cheers! #4 Tam Struck (Thursday, 02 February 2017 12:22) I was suggested this blog by my cousin. I'm not sure whether this post is written by him as nobody else know such detailed about my trouble. Wonderful blog and wonderful design. #6 Wilber Ruhland (Friday, 03 February 2017 22:56) Howdy would you mind stating which blog platform you're using? I'm going to start my own blog in the near future but I'm having a difficult time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I'm looking for something completely unique. P.S My apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask! #7 Pamula Casado (Saturday, 04 February 2017 03:38) I've learn several just right stuff here. Definitely price bookmarking for revisiting.
